I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of North Carolina and I provide individual therapy or couples therapy  with clients ages 17 years old and up.   I  earned my Masters degrees in Psychology at the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Ct.   I later earned my Master of Social Work degree at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, SC.  I use multiple approaches in therapy including  Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing,  and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy skills building.   A therapy visit typically  combines friendly conversation,  various therapeutic interventions and review of progress.    I frequently see clients who have anxiety, depression, and anger management needs.  I also address intrusive thoughts, trauma, and relationship conflict and life transitions including adulting and retirement during therapy visits.    We will move at your pace towards achieving the goals you set.
