Tylar Marren

Hello! I am currently a Graduate student for Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Old Dominion University. I plan to graduate from the program this December.

I work with adults of varying background. Including those who struggle with anxiety, depression, adjustment, stress, low self-esteem, and other mental health and life concerns.

Throughout my training and education thus far, I identify with a Cognitive Behavioral approach, while incorporating mindfulness techniques. I believe that our behaviors have a direct impact on our mentality. To see progress you should be actively involved in the process. By incorporating mindfulness it can assist in adjusting problematic beliefs into more favorable ones.

My therapeutic goal is to create a safe environment, where you are able to share your story at your pace. I am here to support and guide you through becoming the best version of yourself. Thank you for considering me in your journey.
